Hello and welcome to my very first blog post! Thanks for visiting.

My name is Tina Browning and I’m a Realtor Associate with Coldwell Banker in Westfield, NJ (Westfield West office).

I live in Cranford, NJ with my husband, Darren, and our two beautiful kiddos, Benjamin and Lucy.  Darren and I moved to Cranford from Hoboken seven years ago, into a center-hall colonial that at the time seemed way too big for just the two of us.  Seven years and two kids later, well, let’s just say we don’t feel that way anymore…

We love our community and feel very fortunate to have made such great friends here. Cranford has been nicknamed “Mayberry”, and it’s easy to see why.  It has a cozy, small town feel with a bustling downtown featuring “mom and pop” shops, while still providing all the amenities and access to NYC.  We send our children to preschools in downtown Westfield, where we also enjoy shopping and a vibrant restaurant scene.

My website serves the needs of real estate buyers and sellers in Cranford, Westfield, and the surrounding communities.  My blog, “Boroughs to Burbs”, offers tips and local resources for those making the move from urban to suburban life, specifically in our area.  It aims to provide sellers with unique insights into the needs of the buyers they seek for their homes.  I provide my own perspective as someone who navigated the same transition.

Passionate about home design and renovation, I share my inspirations which I hope will spark your imagination.  I also share my personal experience with home renovation projects for your reference and general amusement. Posts on “Just for Fun Fridays” provide a lighthearted look into real estate-related topics.
